amraee what exactly are you looking for? Adobe AIR won't work on web so no HTML5. What you could do is to convert your actionscript to haxe & then create an HTML5/js version of it.

If you don't have an existing codebase in Adobe AIR, you can also find Godot Engine way more productive for game development... I'm not using it because I'm waiting for version 4 to go out of beta, but I think Godot 3.x works stably...

Godot supports UI, localization and input map out of box.

My understanding is that, we can use javascript to create HTML5 games in animate. If you already know javascript, then you should not be asking this question here right? So my suggestion to you is, create assets in animate & then use any of the above tools for creating HTML5 games. Enough examples & reference files are available online. No coding required? Isn't that the easiest?

Or, is there another way to create HTML5 games in animate that I am not aware of?

Shaun_Max Right, Adobe Animate gives him the option of creating HTML5 projects using EaselJS. I don't like it though because it's not oriented to NPM, so you can't use NPM dependencies...

Of course, you can make games with JavaScript and there are many examples about it.
But my talk about the use of Adobe Animate and its valuable features.
I have used simple JavaScript code in Adobe Animate. But for advanced cases, I have not found examples to learn. To produce good games, the combination of advanced JavaScript and Adobe Animation is required.
I think it is not convenient to use complex JavaScript codes in Adobe Animate.

Like ? Are you talking about using Adobe animate as an IDE?

Are you wanting to transpile something like ES2015 into ES5 or minify JavaScript code? You could look at using NPM (NodeJS Package Manager) together with Animate, but IIRC it's not easy to mix NPM projects with Animate projects.

Usually modern browsers support things like ES2015 and several web APIs, so you shouldn't worry too much.

The like was for your response. I don't use Adobe Animate as a coding environment alone. In Adobe Animate, you can create many animations and movie clips and control them by coding and create interesting things. Do you have experience working with Adobe Animator?

FlashFix OpenFL can only load vector graphics and movie clips (vector frames) from SWF in the HTML5 target. Any ActionScript bytecode in the SWF is ignored. So, yeah, you can't use OpenFL to preserve previous existing Flash games in the browser. We'll have to wait on CheerpX and Ruffle projects for that.

I'd say SWFs are pretty much like SVGs.
