Zantafio I don't mind too much. Emails allow me to answer at my own discretion without filling up the forums here or getting buried before I have a chance to see them. On the other hand, the people over in the openfl forums are already experienced with the platform and are not particularly fond of starling.
I started this thread because it is centered around using haxe and openfl with starling and to provide support to developers trying to migrate their existing starling projects. We are also working on improving and optimizing the starling framework on haxe and moving our new engine from AIR to Haxe (that is built on top of starling). I have entertained the thought of launching a new forum and I may yet still, but I was worried about detracting from the already dwindling starling community still here(not to mention it would feel kind of strange to keep up with 2 seperate starling related communities).
I would love to talk more about our WebM extension, as its something I've put a lot of work into personally and is nearly ready for production use.
Our focus on making a presence here is to help keep starling alive, despite what happens to AIR.
If we are seen as a nuisance, please let us know your feelings and thoughts; I will understand completely. The last thing we would like to do is encroach where we're not welcome. No problems here. What do you guys think?
