Missing required icon file

Hi,

I have the error "Missing required icon file", but the file is inside of ipa, and in info.plist, are have the correct dimensions, as you can see in prints bellow.

Anyone know why this error happens?

Could you please help! on how to fix! Should we add the icons in Assets.car or separately ???

Ok! when I changed the target to 10.0 and added all the required icons, this is what i get ?

why those icons are not a part of Assets.car ????

where are your 152x152, 167x167, 1024x1024? Your error is telling you that..

mistergreen How do I check whats inside Assets.car, i believe it should be inside it!
Also to support previous version, I have included few icons, which includes (152x152, 167x167, 1024x1024) in the xml as well!

Also! I would like to know the size of Assets.car, mine is just 94Kb is that correct?!

Try to run Apple's util. You'll get a json file descriptor.
xcrun --sdk iphoneos assetutil --info Assets.car

If you're on windows, find a .car file extractor.

Seems like assets are missing right? What could be wrong?

Most definitely missing icons. Make another one.

Just updating the thread!

I was able to solve the issue by generating Assets.car using distrqt's tool! When generating the assets.car using Xcode the above icons were missing! The actual cause is unknown to me!

Shaun_Max Hmmm, you might have built the xcode app target iPhone only instead of a Universal app. So, xcode only include iphone icons perhaps. Or you're targeting iOS 9.0 which don't include those icons missing. From the asset.car info, "PlatformVersion" : "9.0".

I don't think this is correct. The target that is shown here is the minimum deployment iOS version you are supporting with your deployment target setting in the project. This is different than building with the iOS 13 SDK requirement. It is still acceptable to build/support/deploy to iOS versions lower than 13
