Shaun_Max Yes, it's hard now. The resources are out there if you know where to look, but the blogs, the communities and similar that used to provide a focus are mostly gone. This is the only one I know of now.
Kong just announced that it is largely winding down its web-gaming portal. The games will still be there chat and forums are ending for all but a handful, games cannot be uploaded any more. Not mentioned, so it's probably ending too, is their game development forum, which was once a fairly active forum for Flash game development.
I had thought Harman might do more to promote AIR, after Adobe lost interest in it in their last years of ownership. But it seems just like a continuation of Adobe. They are more responsive on the technical side, addressing and fixing bugs. But there's nothing being done to attract new developers, without whom the platform can't grow, justifying more investment in it.
