My name is pete shand and I've been working on a haxe port of the 2D hardware accelerated framework that is Starling for quite some time now. The focus of this port is to continue to support the flash and AIR targets (Windows, OSX, Android, iOS and SWF) while also bringing the library to new targets like WebGL/HTML5.
Up until this point I've not really made much noise about the port because well, there were still a lot of missing features (even on the flash target), however the number of missing features is shrinking and my colleagues and I have just begun using this library in production so I feel the time is right to try and get people on board.

Additionally I'd also like to give vroad a shout out for his starling port, yes there is more than one. I'd encourage you to check his version out as well as it focuses on support for different haxe targets.
