@Josh, using Google is probably what I'm going to do. I just experimented with the "Google Custom Search", and that's really amazing. I know I evaluated this a while ago, but back then it was *by far* not as powerful as what's possible now.
Here's the search page that's probably very close to what we'll end up with:
Since it also searches the wiki, e.g. your excellent Feathers articles will pop up as well, and Starling's manual pages. You can even switch between these types of content!
Those results could be displayed directly on the forum website. I'm sure that would be a huge improvement!
@Artemix: yes, such a indicator would be nice, and probably not too much effort. In the meantime, I'm doing it like this: on the "favorite" page, there's an RSS feed of your posts, and I added that to my RSS feed reader. That's very handy — at least if you're an RSS junky like myself.
Posting SWF files would be nice, too, you're right. What's definitely on my TODO-list, though, is to make some simple modifications to the CSS to enhance the experience on mobile.
... I know we're hijacking this thread for something completely different than the title, but I'll make an additional thread about this when the search change was implemented.
Thanks again for all your comments!
