I'm using the Starling TextField with embedded fonts, not bitmap fonts, to display my text.
I've set my textfield to autosize vertically, just like it needs to, but if at some point of my layout process the textfield width happens to temporarily shrink really low, the textfield will naturally grow really tall. This in turn throws the error of too large texture:
ArgumentError: Error #3683: Texture too big (max is 2048x2048).
I'm sure I can find a way to catch this error and not care about it, because the textfield will eventually be properly sized and the texture will not be too large, but I just thought maybe Starling TextField should not throw an error in this case, but rather maybe trace a warning, keep the texture as large as possible and crop what's left outside?
