I am working in an app (Flash Player) to take pictures from the webcam, it's communicating via LocalConnection with an Adobe AIR app, the Adobe AIR app is doing some processing over the picture, and writing the result to disk always on the same path ("assets/output0.jpg", located in the same folder as my swf)
In Flash Player I have a ImageLoader to display the picture:
ImageLoader(preview).source = "assets/output0.jpg"
When the AIR App is done processing the picture, I need to refresh it into the ImageLoader on FP, but since the url is not changing, ImageLoader does not refresh the picture.
So, to avoid it this is what I am doing:
ImageLoader(preview).source = null; ImageLoader(preview).source = "assets/output0.jpg";
My question: Is this the correct way to refresh the picture into the ImageLoader? or making the source = null could have any side effect?
