I saw a few threads with a similar subject but I didn't see what I need.
I apologize for any redundancy.
I am creating buttons that need the hitArea to be much larger than the actual image area.
The quick thing to do is create an image at the size I want. But it wastes my SpriteSheet space.
I suspect I can increase the hitArea for the button without affecting the bitmap size.
For example, my play button is 75x75 pixels and I want the hitArea around it to be 500x350
I played around with padding but it would scale the bitmap in some instances. I haven't figured out how to use it just yet.
