I use an URLLoader to call a PHP file on my server. When I test it, it works fine, but for some users a #2032 Stream Error occurs. I found a post that it could be a network issue:
It's most likely a network issue. You can use the IOErrorEvent handler to deal with intermittent network connectivity by waiting a short amount of time and sending the request again. Depending on what you're doing, you might want to keep track of the number of re-loads so that after a certain amount of tries, you can give up and alert the user that the app is unable to contact the server.
Does anyone have experience with that? What does "wait a short amount of time and send the request again" mean, how long should I wait to send the request again? If it fails, how often should I try to make the request again before giving up?
