I have been putting some animations in my game and there are some that I would like to change on the same object. So the game starts and I have the player who is a new MovieClip and I then add the textures required for the current state. How would I go about changing the series of textures being played on the same movieclip during run time? Or is this not recommended?
This is how I am creating the player:
player_animate = new MovieClip(assets.getTextures("walk_", null)); player_animate.fps = 4; starling.core.Starling.juggler.add(player_animate); this.addChild(player_animate);
How would I just change what textures are being played on this movieclip without creating a new movieclip? I can't seem to figure this out.. I tried something like,
player_animate.texture = (assets.getTextures("run_")); But that didn't work
