My port to Starling 2 was nearly flawless. I did discover however my previously transparent quads (added to a quadbatch) are no longer transparent.
Old Starling 1 code:
var ret:QuadBatch = new QuadBatch(); var back:Quad = new Quad(w,h, 0xFFFFFF); back.alpha = 0; ret.addQuad(back); //then I ret.addQuad() actual quads I want to see
New Starling 2 code:
var ret:MeshBatch = new MeshBatch(); var back:Quad = new Quad(w,h, 0xFFFFFF); back.alpha = 0; ret.addMesh(back); //then I addMesh() the quads I want to actually see
The problem is that the "back" quad is solid white now, where before it was showing through to whatever was underneath.
I'm using this technique to provide a larger clickable area.
Any ideas are welcome.
