Hello, first of all : you have made a good job on this framework!
My main issue is the display list similaries e.g. MovieClip flash vs MovieClip Starling (yes, an other topic about that...). I know this is subject which is recurrent, and I understand your point of view but I can't find an easy solution to my problem :
I'm porting a game framework (http://citrusengine.com) to Starling, it is based on Box2D. Currently there are two ways to manage graphics : classical MovieClip/Shape/PNG, and blitting. I would like to add a third one which is obviously Starling.
To handle graphics it used specific classes some for traditional display list and some for blitting. It wouldn't be a big deal to create some for Starling.
However, in object classes it refers to MovieClip (to set up the view), and if I want to use Starling too, I've :
so an ambiguous class import and definition later... Same problem with Events for ADDED_TO_STAGE.
Any idea how to solve that ? I really would like to keep the traditional display list in the framework, it is very easy to set up and to create a simple game which doesn't need awesome perfs.
