How do I change the width of a column on a DateSpinner?

Hi,
Anyone knows who I can change the width of a column on a DateSpinner?

There appears to be no way to change the width of a specific column in DateTimeSpinner. I think, at best, it might be possible to change the width of all columns to the same value.

Maybe there is a way to change the format of the spinner so the month with only be a number, this will make the month section smaller and maybe will give the day more space?
Or if this will only make the spinner thinner, maybe there is a way to make the day of the month wider like makeing it present the day of the week it is falling on?
