Captive runtime and section 6.1 of Adobe Air licence agreement by Harmann

Hi!

Do you know if Adobe Air apps for Windows packaged as captive runtime are permitted by Harmann?

Section 6.1 of the Harmann licence SDK says:

6.1 Development. You shall not create or distribute any software, including any Developer Application
that interoperates with individual Runtime Components in a manner not documented by HARMAN. You
shall not create or distribute any software, including any Developer Application that is designed to
interoperate with an un- installed instance of the Runtime Software. You shall not create or distribute
any Developer Application that runs without installation. You are not permitted to install or use the
Build Tools or other portions of the SDK to develop software prohibited by this agreement. Failure to
comply with this Section 6.1 is a breach of this agreement that immediately terminates all rights granted
to you herein.

Do you think this allows making an installer of captive runtime packaged app with Innosetup for example? What about distributing portable version of the captive runtime packaged app in a zip file?

Do you understand what they mean about «without installation» in the case of a captive runtime?

Yes, the license allows you distribute captive runtime apps both using an installer and also packaged in a zip file.

To me...it sounds like you can't create developer tools that package something that includes the runtime. For example.. I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to create a scripted language that allowed end users to create a package, zip file, etc, that included the "end user script", "your player" that would run the "end user script", and the "air runtime" that would be needed to run "your player".
