Flashbuilder + Harman AIR SDK help needed

I'm failing to get flash builder up and running with the new Harman SDKs.
I read up a bit but cant make heads or tails of it.
I tried following some advice found on this forum and in the release docs;'Copied the java 1.8 files over the flash builder JRE. That broke flash builder. Had to reinstall the whole thing.

I didn't think I needed the new SDK until I discovered that Apple changed something in the .p12 format (for as far as I understand).
Copying the AIRSDK folder into the eclipse compiler folder doesn't seem to do the trick anymore.
Could someone guide me through the required steps please?
Products:
Flash Builder 4.7 x64
Harman AIR SDK 33.1.1 (or higher if that's wiser).

Note: Yes I could start using intelliJ but I cant afford anything at the moment. I'm trying to force finish my app so I can release it before Christmas.

Please someone help me.

Hey Mac,

Crazy thing I just installed Windows on my new Steam Deck. I had to setup all my dev config on it.

Yeah with the new Harman SDK you need to replace the ''jre'' folder in Flash Builder with a 1.8 Java(8) compatible one.
It should work good after. Don't forget to boost your memory with the FlashBuilder.ini files and FlashBuilderC.ini.

-Xmx4096m
-XX:MaxPermSize=4096m
-XX:PermSize=2048m

Also point the Java_home to the java 1.8 folder on your Windows machine.

Should do the trick. I can now work on my game with the Steam Deck on the go or in docking mode.
My Game works great on the Deck by the way can't wait to finish it and finally release it !

FlashFix Hey thanks. And I keep the AIR SDK in its own folder then? No copying over the old compiler?
Mind you this is not a FLEX build.

I hope your game finishes so I can see it. And vice versa 🙂

I'm not able to get the Library to point at the new Harman SDK. If I overwrite the AIRSDK folder in plugins/compiler it totally wont start up.
How do I do that?
