Windows is usually pretty good at backward compatibility. Give it a try and see if it works!

You probably can, but I'd ask the question why? 🙂 FlashBuilder is so old and unmaintained it really is worth considering trying something new.

Have been thinking about moving to intellij, but have so much to do that I prefer keep going with FB for the time being, learning something new takes time.

DanielKotzer Switching to IntelliJ is actually not that hard - it will likely only require you half a day but will save you many more days.
(💭 Me thinking about adding a small How-To on www.airsdk.com on how to exactly set it up, since the topic FB and IntelliJ seem to regularly popup every now and then...)

@2jfw Yeah it's a good idea, must say I started one a while ago but there are so many different configurations to consider I gave up, and now it's been so long since I've used FB I've pretty much dumped all that information 😄

ma Intellij/Rider is like the only IDE I use, VSCode for shaders and stuff like that. IDEA is not hard to learn and the library setup is the hardest part, but that can then be reused with any projects.

DanielKotzer ... it really is worth it, your whole dev experience will change from knowing you are in a black box to something that works and makes programming fun. IMHO

Will do it eventually, but I will probably run into bugs, with the old projects I did with FB, there are always compatibility problems, and bugs I still don't know. At least the bugs of FB I know and found runarounds.
