Hello Guys,
I just pushed an update to one of our old apps, with air sdk updation & no other code change!
I have a user reporting a screen size when the app loads from the background!
According to user, the app works fine in the first load and this only happens when they minimise the app and later load from the background.
I am unable to reproduce this issue from my side and on almost all the android phones with me are working fine.
Has anyone faced this issue before? What could be possibly going wrong when the app loads from the background.
I checked the code and there is no resizing happening. The app always runs in landscape & doesn't support portrait mode.
I am using distrqt's application ane to control full screen :
stage.align = StageAlign.TOP_LEFT;
stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE;
stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.NORMAL;
if (Application.isSupported) {
Flox.logInfo("Android Full Screen isSupported");
Application.service.display.setDisplayMode(DisplayMode.IMMERSIVE, LayoutMode.CUTOUT_SHORT_EDGES);
Application.service.setStage(stage);
screenWidth = Application.service.display.displayMetrics.screenWidth;
screenHeight = Application.service.display.displayMetrics.screenHeight;
}
Here is the screenshot with before & after respectively : -
