Hey distriqt, I'm having some trouble converting my project to use apm.
I'm using FlashDevelop on windows. I think FlashDevelop works with ane's a bit strangely compared to like IntelliJ on Mac or something here's what I believe is the normal way to add an ANE on FlashDevelop. (I followed guides in the past to do this)
- Copy the ane file to a folder i.e. /lib/ane
- Copy the ane file again to another folder i.e. lib/
- For the lib/ file rename it as a zip file. i.e. com.distriqt.Dialog.ane.zip
- Extract that zip file so now you have a com.distriqt.Dialog.ane folder
- Add both the lib/ane/com.distriqt.Dialog.ane file to library and the lib/com.distriqt.Dialog.ane folder to library (you right click them in flashdevelop and press 'add to library'
- Now the ANE can be found and works fine
So when trying to get up and running with apm, I've installed anes' to the /ane folder and did the 'add to library' thing for that. But FlashDevelop won't compile the project, it will say:
Error: Requested extension com.distriqt.Dialog.ane could not be found.
The content cannot be loaded because there was a problem loading an extension: Error: Requested extension com.distriqt.Dialog.ane could not be found.
Because I no longer have that 'folder' added to the library.
I can work around this by manually making that folder again from the ane, but I'm wondering if there is a better way so that no lengthy manual operations need to be done each time ANEs are updated.
(by the way, besides this issue, I wanna say this tool is awesome! and really excited to be keeping my ANEs' updated in this way now)
