So, I'm trying to port an existing project to a mobile AIR app. The problem I have is I want the app to be able to run both on an android phone and tablet as well as iPhone and iPad. The way I'm doing it now is I have my main project at 720x1600 and use the show_all scaling property. My background image is wider, so the app looks good on both phone and tablet. The thing is I want to load an interactive swf and place it on the stage. Sadly, on a tablet I'll have blank side bars with zero interactivity on tablets.
I guess one way of handling this would be to load different swf with different resolution for different devices. How do I detect if the app is open on a tablet/ipad or a phone? I guess I would have to get screen resolution of a device and calculate it's aspect ratio.
Also, isn't there an option to package more binariesin the aab? So I could have 16:9 and 21:9 executables in one aab?
I know some people here have built some apps in animate cc, so I'd like to know how you handle different aspect ratios.
