Maybe poorly worded, but I clearly understand that Flex is a Framework, and that AIR is a runtime. I have been using them for years. My problem is that I only know how to create using MXML and I need to learn how to do things in Actionscript. I don't know how to do this in actionscript:
<s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
xmlns:components="components.*"
splashScreenScaleMode="zoom"
splashScreenMinimumDisplayTime="3000"
applicationComplete="appCreationCompleteHandler(event)" creationPolicy="all" xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx" visible="false">
or how to do things like this:
<s:states>
<s:State name="home" enterState="enterHomeState(event)"/>
<s:State name="deals" enterState="enterDealsState(event)"/>
<s:State name="deals2" enterState="enterDeals2State(event)"/>
<s:State name="props" enterState="enterPropsState(event)"/>
<s:State name="view" enterState="enterViewState(event)" exitState="clearMemory(event)"/>
</s:states>
So I need to learn how to do these things in a pure Actionscript way, and that is where I am struggling.
