I hope someone can give my some support to understand why intelliJ does not want to process my AS project files.
This is not my first attempt to leave Flash Builder behind me but hopefully my last successful one. I am coding on Windows, have installed intelliJ ultimate, have also installed the Flash plugin, also was able to import my Flash/Actionscript project but I am not able to export a build or to let it run on my connected Android device. (my project which I managed for years with Flash Builder is a mobile app for Android and iOS). There are two issues which prevent me from going on.
Issue 1: When I try to debug or run the code there are hundreds of errors listed. Sure, I could solve all that errors but they do not really harm anything. I work since 8 years with them (not knowing that they are existing) and I do not want to fix them all. I just want to tell intelliJ "Hey, come on. Just ignore this stuff!" But how? I unchecked all checkboxes for the inspectors and for the intentions but it is all ignored. For example I also unchecked "jump to the first found error in the list". But what happens? It jumps to the very first found error in the list. Adding the whole project path to the exclude path for the inspector with recursive mode activated - same problem. I only was able to make intelliJ to go on though finding all that errors by changing the compiler to Eclipse and then change "build" to "build, ignore errors". But this way cannot be the only workaround, I think!?
Issue 2: If I use that workaround the compiler starts working and then tells me that it was not able to find the project xml file in the bin-debug folder. Indeed this folder is empty.
Do this two issues belong together in any way?
Every help is very appreciated.
