My app runs at 60 FPS in Adobe animate ide while testing. After compiling to either pc desktop air or exe, it runs at 120 FPS. Can anyone explain this or know how to limit it to 60? Thanks in advance for any help,
alpo69 stage.frameRate is what you are looking for.
Someone will likely have changed the framerate to 120 in your project before, since 24 is the default.
The jump from 60 FPS in your debug build to 120 FPS in the release build seems rather massive - I could imagine there being some code checking for "Capabilities.isDebugger" and setting it to 60 or 120
