Shaun_Max Exactly - you can fall back to the version which you initially received all life-long..
Shaun_Max I think, if you been paying for IDEA for 1 year, you get that version even if you stop paying. You dont get updates, but can always download and install that version.
Check the site for details, I think it was 1 year.

It should be the same with the free keys. Once you redeem and period ends, you get to keep it. If you already pay and you redeem it, you get an extra 12 months.
