I have been using Flash Builder for years for my Flex projects, mostly because I paid a lot for it and just hate to throw it in the trash. But it is becoming quite long in the tooth, and with the more advanced SDK's and ANE's, things are starting to get a bit quircky.
I have heard great things about intelliJ, and am going to try a free trial today. But I wondered if there are any "free" options that are worth taking a look at like VSCode. To meet my criteria, the IDE must be able to handle AMF, ANE's, and Flex for mobile and desktop.
Any suggestions for free IDE's? Or is intelliJ totally worth the investment?
