ChrisDS It might be apparent already, but its most efficient if you create a quad from a white texture on your main sheet and then colorize it, otherwise each quad is an extra draw call.
Nope, not from what I tested years ago and now tested again because this statement made me second guess myself. 🙂
The 2 other draw calls are from a menu on the side not in the image.
