Hello, I find out a new issue from previous versions. I would be very surprised if it happened only to me.
Every time I use diacritics in the app name, AppStore reject my app back.
I want to name the app in real name, for example, "Záchranář" means "Rescuer".
And when I use this in the app name, I got this message by email:
"ITMS-90035: Invalid Signature - A sealed resource is missing or invalid. The file at path [Záchranář.app/Záchranář] is not properly signed. Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are ..."
The signing certificate is ok, the password too. It is happening only if I use the diacritics in its name. When the name of the app is without special characters, everything goes through to the end alright.
When I want to release a fresh update of the app "Leaves of trees" = "Listy stromů".
There is one letter with diacritics too. When I released this app before, I had to downgrade the SDK to version 27 (or 28, not sure but it was too old) in export dialogue to be able to publish this app. Now there is no longer allowed to use older API and when I want to release the latest update, it is impossible to release it with the regular name.
I temporary change the name to simply "Listy" = "Leaves" but the name is not correct, it is too general.
But it has been passed the application loader process properly.
Do you have some ideas on how to solve this? My suggestion is to use the "OUTPUT FILE" part of the dialogue instead of "APP NAME".
Or the latest part "APP ID" field, if Apple needs to have a name without diacritics to right signing.
This is happening for a long time. I was fighting with this issue in an official version of AIR 32 too.
In the new release of my app 1.9.3, I wrote the name "Zachranar" and everything is ok.
In version 1.9.4 I use the name "Záchranář" and immediately there is the problem with signing.
No other changes were made. Just the name. I attached all the files to this email.
When I use diacritics in app name (a hook or a comma above the letters), I got a message that "The file at path [Záchranář.app/Záchranář] is not properly signed.". When I wrote the name without the right European diacritics, everything will pass fine.
Or some other name, for example, "Tísňomat" the message is the same "The file at path [Tísňomat.app/Tísňomat] is not properly signed."
Or "The file at path [Dopravní výchova.app/Dopravní výchova] is not properly signed."
It means, that I can not use the regular names in the app name and I have to replace it by something similar without the diacritics.
This is very limiting. I think it will be better to use the FILENAME field for this property instead of APP-NAME because in the name of a file I am often using simple letters without special characters, but in the app name, it is always better to use common diacritics of every European or some other language.
