How much of vertex buffer memory is used when drawing simple rectangles. I am hitting limit on around 2500 rectangles which seams like a very low number. Why is that so? The documentation says the limit for vertex buffer is 256MB but starling stats display shows that I am only using 162 megabytes in total. So how am I getting error that:
Error: Error #3691: Resource limit for this resource type exceeded.
at flash.display3D::Context3D/createVertexBuffer()
at starling.display.graphics::GraphicRenderer/render()[C:\AS3Libraries\starling-graphics-extension\extension2.0\src\starling\display\graphics\GraphicRenderer.as:503]
Does Starling stats display GPU memory accounts for vertex memory as well or only memory for textures is displayed?
I am using starling graphics extension to draw rectangles.
This is happening both on windows, android and iOS
