VishwasGagrani When I use Texture.fromEmbeddedAsset( <class>) on AIR SDK for mobile it shows error "invalid ATF data". However on AIR sdk for desktop it works fine. Why is it so? Cannot I use normal bitmap class in case of mobile?
VishwasGagrani That was happening because of mimeType="application/octet-stream" [Embed(source="../../assets/textures/1/boy_stand_run.png", mimeType="application/octet-stream")] Removing the line solved the error.
joshtynjala When you use mimeType="application/octet-stream", that tells the compiler to embed the data as a raw ByteArray instead of a bitmap. When you tell Starling to load texture from a ByteArray, it assumes that the data will be in ATF format.
