I'm developing a new feature in one of my apps where the user should be able to color a character.
I've spend some time here looking for the best way to make a drawing app. But the two main approaches that I could see I think that have some disadvantages. So I'm trying to decide what is the best way to start with.
The first one that I saw in the forum, was with the Canvas Class and using the method drawPolygons. It's very easy to implement and the result is very nice with the circles, but the performance is very low when you draw a few lines. I don't know if there is a way to optimize it.
The second one found here: https://forum.starling-framework.org/d/18125-canvas-lineto-moveto/31 has a better performance but the separation between lines and the rectangle shape are a bit ugly for the purpose of my app, also seems to be a little hard to fix it (maybe I'm wrong but I've been far from the develop some years, so it scary me a bit)
Maybe someone knows one middle solution or can guide me a little? is there any library or class that can help me?
