Hi All
We're having this issue where our app crashes immediately
when IOS decides it needs to go to background.
I've been having this issue from day one that it's been
released on the App Store (first released to the store on November 2017)
Right now I'm using the latest AIR SDK Beta 32,
but never was there any difference with any AIR Sdk.
Once you press the Home Button or touch something outside the screen
(like pull down the top bar) - app immediately crashes.
I've tried setting background execution params, but nothing really works.
The app uses latest starling in a hybrid fashion with the classic
display list as menus on top of a Starling 3d Context.
The app is called ImageGo on the App Store (https://imagego.club/en)
We've never been rejected by this (by the App Store), which is strange in itself,
since an app should not crash every time it goes to background.
My first suspicious was
the fact the Starling does not stop writing to the GPU as the app goes
to background, which it should, at least according to the docs.
I was not able to get any meaningful logs about this
it just happens silently.
If anyone has published an app on the App Store recently
and knows something, please share some info...
Thanks
