this is driving me nuts.
My app crashes when moved into background and then brought back to foreground on iOS, only if some activity has been done.
I.e. a video played, or several sections navigated.
It shouldn't be a memoery leak. Also, if app is just used and used memory stays stable, it only happens when brought to background then to foreground again.
Tried on AIR 26 to 32, iOS 9 and 12, same thing.
Any experience to share?
Not really SOLVED, but I have finally found the bug, and it is something bad in AIR for iOS.
It consistently happens with AIR 27, 31 and 32, on both iOS 8 and 12.
// In class there is a private ver _ns:NetStream
var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection();
var ns:NetStream = new NetStream(nc);
/* THIS IS THE CULPRIT. COMMENT "_ns = ns" AND APP WILL NOT CRASH */
_ns = ns;
