@hardcoremore : i don't work with air ANYMORE for new project. I still have older project on air that i try to support. I tried to update to air sdk 30 to this particular project and it wasnt working on my galaxy s8 , really slow. I rolled back to air 29 (i was on air 27) and all work fine.
I do have some atf texture.. i don t see why using atf will slower anything. I can understand that maybe the decompression can be slower for some convertion to etc1/etc2 but it just make no sense to have like a 50% hit on performance because i switched from air 29 to air 30.
I have read that they change on android some etc1/etc2 for software decoding or something like that... but than again i don't see why it would reduce performance... it should only reduce decompression aka loading time.
leokan23 don't even use atf/etc1 so i don't think it's that. Software decoding will only slower the loading time...
