I'm trying to write my own dynamic texture atlas generator, and I was wondering if I should extrude or pad the individual textures, or both? What conditions require one or the other? These are the conditions my images will have:
- The default TextureSmoothing.BILINEAR will be used for all images.
- Images could have non-integer coordinates.
- Images could be larger or smaller than their textures so scaling occurs.
- Mipmapping is off.
