The reason I want to commit resources is that they do not lie in the open as they are. In any game, in almost any application, no files (configurations, graphics, etc.) are in the clear. They are either encrypted or packed. So I would like to do the same, but I did not find the right tools. There is nothing in that they will hang in the memory, which now on any device / pc is enough for large 2d projects, but gpu is just very small, especially on mobile platforms.
Organis I thought about the Fip, this is the first tool that I got, but I thought maybe there is something different, more modern, or it was last updated in 2007. It would be desirable simply besides packing, still to protect a file password.
