I'm facing an issue with the GoViral ANE on Android, and I don't know how to solve it. I want to use the email composer feature, which allows to invoke the native email component. I'm passing an HTML email to it, which includes basic HTML tags (a few bold tags, and some IMG tags pointing to images hosted on my server).
On iOS, everything works fine: the HTML layout is respected, and images are visible.
On Android 6 (was not able to test on Android 7), I have the following issues:
- With the regular email app, which is linked to an Outlook.com account, all HTML is removed, and the final email is just plain text
- With the Gmail app, the basic HTML text formatting tags work, but the image are replaced by a strange OBJ character (it's a single character that displays "OBJ", surrounded by a dotted frame).
When I actually send the emails, I receive them with the same issues, so it is not just a display problem in the composer.
Did someone manage to send HTML emails on Android using the GoViral ANE, please?
Thank you very much for your help!
