As your project is in Flex you have 2 different ways of working the problem:
- You can add padding at the top of your Actionbar (not the view). So you can detect if an iphone with notch and then do this:
@media (os-platform:"IOS") AND (application-dpi: 480) {
s|ActionBar
{
paddingTop: 135;
}
}
An alternative would be, using the osStatusBarHeight variable in Flex which will move your view.
@media (os-platform:"IOS") AND (application-dpi: 480)
{
s|Application {
osStatusBarHeight: 132;
}
}
In both cases due to using a ppi bucket which is same for iphone x,xs,xr but also iphone 8, you will have an issue in iPhone 8 and 8 plus.
To avoid this, I use an ANE to get the StatusBarHeight and pass that as a value.
I hope this helps.
ps. same principle can be used in Feathers. Get the StatusBarHeight, move your actionbar.
