Despite the fact that the AIRSDK iOS base version is 10.1 it is possible to write ANEs using iOS 11.0. This is possible as you can compile your ANE's lib in 10 but your dynamic Swift Frameworks, with all your code, as 11 (You could use ObjC also but bleh)
Example here uses PDFKit which is iOS 11 only
You need to mod AIRSDK slightly to use. Follow notes carefully. Be mindful that you may need to switch back to Xcode 8 for existing projects.
iOS 11 enforces x86_64 for simulator builds. AIR only produces i386 simulator builds. Therefore, you cannot run AIR projects in the Xcode 11.0 Simulator.
If anyone is lucky enough to own an iPad Pro / iPhone7 this means you could play around with using ARKit VisionKit etc.
