We have an app which uses NetStream for two-way audio streaming (the app sends outgoing audio to the server and simultaneously receives incoming audio). We are not doing any video playback.
On Android, the first time we activate the NetStream, a context loss immediately occurs. I tried disabling all visual changes when this occurs in case it was caused by the Connect button changing state or something like that, but the context loss still occurred.
Even though we're not doing video playback, I tried adding <containsVideo>true</containsVideo> to the Android section of the application descriptor since some people have reported that fixed context loss when playing back video with NetStream. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to have any effect.
Has anyone run into this issue before? Is there any reason that starting a streaming audio connection would flush the GPU memory?
