ytom , sir, you are completely awesome! I couldn't even find a proper way to express my gratitude to your effort!
Being personally interested in rapid expansion of Starling potential I want to draw your attention to the following projects:
BezierTweenStarling
This is a single class that extends regular Tween class in Starling. It allows to move Starling Display Objects along the curved path built from vector of points.
BezierTween supports easing functions, path smoothing and even/uneven speed of transition.
I'm regularly using a 4 points path to describe movement for short transitions (start point, 2 curve control points and end point).

Bezier-Lines
Pretty old Bezier curve builder that allows to drag start/end/control points of the line, change resolution of curve (i.e. amount of Bezier segments) and able to describe curve in Penner points and Casteljau points.
I will possibly upload a rewritten code for Starling within next few months, but it's easier to create a new implementation from scratch.

StarlingOne by shintiger
A framework over Starling that was submitted just a week ago.
IMHO, the most notable feature is Tween Sequence that offers new tween control technique.
Instead of using .nextTween or delaying a bundle of Starling Tweens you may append multiple TweenNodes to TweenChain to create a sequence.
Should be great to use in combination with BezierTween for complex movement description.
I didn't dive deeply into the code, but it seems that display package will receive a major extension along with development of Alignment and Grid control components.

P.S.:
A little bit more info about Plugin Management would be just perfect. Also, do you have any plans on supporting ATF Texture Atlases?
P.P.S.:
It is obvious that the project has a great future and will rapidly evolve in top editing software. Good luck on this!
