As the topic title, how can I enable immersive mode hiding the navigation bar?
Adobe AIR does not expose a way to enable immersive mode. You might be able to find an ANE that can do it.
What is ANE?
ANE is an abbreviation for AIR Native Extension
Here you go.
Adobe AIR 23 add support for immersive mode. Anyone know how to manage this mode or turn it off? Now the default screen size of the application is calculated incorrectly, and all layouts broken 🙁
It seems to be controlled by the <fullScreen> element in the AIR descriptor file. What properties are you using to query the screen size? There seems to be an issue with stage.fullScreenWidth and Capabilities.screenResolutionX, see post on Adobe forums. I believe stage.stageWidth/Height should return the correct value.
"AIR 23 ... cropping issue only only affects <renderMode>direct</renderMode>"
but this mode is required for Starling library.
