Ls,

So I created a worker/ bg thread, works great on android.
On iOs there seem to be some prob's.
I just 'stole' the example from the adobe example on workers for ios, so nothing fancy.
I don't know if they are AIR bugs or its a starling thing that just surfaced because this isn't used a lot.

Also it only happens on ios full(slow) debug build and/or export releasebuild.

Basically I discovered.

Having startling stats = true in the default app that call starling.
A short(very) while after firing up the worker in the main-starling.as something goes wrong with the bitmapfont used in the stats display (I don't really care cause you don't use that on final release anyway) but this is also true for multitouch enabled = true.
This points to the same cause i.m.h.o.
Setting stats to false and multitouch enabled to false solved this until..
you touch the screen this results in the same error as with the multitouch = true.

So, I'm guessing Daniel, could you please have a look at this if you find the time.

I'm dropping the console trace from the errors below.

Highest regards,

Mac

FYI: some extra info on the app structure:

I create a handler class that loads and start a stripped swf movie before starting starling in the first.as file starting starling
this class has mouseclick event listeners on the native stage that control the swf play (like prev/next/quit..)

so the errors...
