Anyone who has worked with iOS has probably experienced this before. Any object placed at the bottom of the screen, when touched, seems to respond to the touch event ~ half a second later. This causes your app to look unresponsive and clunky.
This StackOverflow question summarizes the problem: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23046539/uibutton-fails-to-properly-register-touch-in-bottom-region-of-iphone-screen/
The workaround mentioned there involves a subclass of UIButton. That is not applicable in AIR. Does anyone have a solution besides moving my buttons from the bottom of the screen?
