I just want to know if there's some advantages and/or disadvantages between using SWC file or AssetManager.as for loading sounds dynamically.
Previously, I am using only AssetManager.as. But my current project currently is using SWC files for sounds/mp3. I find it easier to call sounds using SWC file because FB/FD and IntelliJ can show code hinting for it. I just added 'SND_' as prefix for each sound to their linkage names in the library for easier access.
Now the question is, is there any disadvantages on using SWC files instead of AssetManager alone? Especially to the device's memory, CPU, etc.
I know there's a lot of sound managing libraries out there. But curios about this process though...
