I was hoping to get optimizations by upgrading to starling 2.. and it seems like my asset heavy scrollcontainer is super laggy.. it's at 60fps when not moving, but when scrolling, it's bad.. even on my PC... drops to 33fps on my super fast pc.
I wasn't flattening assets.. I have about 170 draws total when the scroll container and the assets are all open. I have image assets across atlases.. because I have lots of images and they can't fit in one 2048x2048 atlas.
I'm just worried that spending time switching to a List, won't help anything.
I might try moving all the image assets in the container to a MeshBatch.. but I think it'll take a lot of reworking.. as I do change states of various images within the container..
I've attached a screenshot of how this container looks.. maybe you guys can give me feedback on how to better optimize it.. as ScrollContainer within a bunch of children sprite containers, with images/textfields isn't cutting it.
