Hey guys. I've Google'd this but not found much info regarding it. In Adobe Scout, I have about 10 - 15% of my cpu time getting chewed up by "Running SWF tags for frame". Has anyone else dealt with this? On my mobile device, a semi new tablet, it takes about 6ms to accomplish this task per frame. My game runs at 30fps, so I only have 33ms total to stay under per frame. So using 6ms is quite a waste. My game is about 95% starling, so I don't really have much movieclips animating or other timelines running at all.
I do however, have a dozen or two embedded SWFs (only art assets) in my game. Perhaps this is somehow causing it?
I'm going to look into it some more today, but I couldn't find much on Google so I thought I'd post this in the meantime in hopes that anybody had some info. I'll post if I find the solution.
