I have created a player class and thinking it would make sense to have all my images in one movieclip. Only problem is when I want to do a walk cycle he loops over all the stand forward, left and right frames. I want him only to run on specific frames. This is the structure in sprite sheet.
Will eventually be adding more like pickup and crouch. I have created a PlayerAssets.as class and call getAtlas().getTextures()
How would I control the frames like I used to be able to in Flash?
