I'm new in ATF. currently i'm using .png sprite sheet for my game. recently i read some ATF relative topic and lot of people were suggested to use ATF. so i'm trying to convert all my .png sprite sheet to .atf format. but i'm struggling here.
i'm getting large size .atf output file when i convert .png file to .atf file using "ATF Tools/png2atf.exe"
.png is 247kb after convert to .atf will come 3.4mb
png2atf -c -i starling.png -o starling.atf
I also tried with TexturePacker for creating .atf sprite sheet but output size is big compared with .png
is it normal?
what is the original size difference with .png and .atf?
How to reduce the .atf size without quality effect?
