I’m facing a problem when trying to use StageVideo on Android (Starling 1.4, Adobe Air 3.9). It works perfectly on any iOS device and also on my Nexus 5.
Only on my Sony Xperia (Mini pro - Android Version 4.0.4) all I get is a black screen. Also, the audio of my video is not played (but I can still hear the background music of the app). No error-message at all.
In order to cause this problem I don’t have to start the video nor add it to the stage…all I have to do is calling a property like “stage.stageVideos.length” or “new Video()” (software fallback). So it can’t be a problem like a wrong codec.
I read several threads with a similar problem, but none of the solutions worked for me:
- set containsVideo to false/true or deleting it
- changing the stage quality
- activating hardware acceleration
- Starling.handleLostContext = true
Thanks in advance!
