Hi all, I'm currently in the middle of producing an adventure game that has screens with lots of images and floating text. Ideally I would like to be able to design these scenes in Flash, place all the objects, size them etc and export them into my starling game which will do the necessary transformations for filters and images->textures etc. I can think of two ways of doing this. I can either, in my flash file, walk down the display object container tree and json out all of the nodes I want and then load these in using the AssetManager and rebuild it all with starling objects in my game. Or I can load in the .swf directly with Loader and do the extraction in my game.
Both methods seem really ugly and hacky to me.. and I just wondered if someone with more experience than me had solved this kind of problem before and what way they did it.
